Tuesday, 1st

52nd Annual Utah Shakespeare Festival held in Cedar City, Tuesday – Saturday, and offers matinee performances at 2:00pm and evening performances at 7:30pm in two grand theaters. The Festival also offers backstage tours, seminars, and play orientations. Plays featured this season in repertory are: ‘Peter and the Starcatchers,’ ‘The Marvelous Wonderettes,’ & ‘Richard II’. Wednesday, 2nd

Downtown Farmer’s Market will be held every Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm starting July 31, 2013 and ending October 16, 2013 for a total of 12 weeks. The market will be held in the parking area behind Bulloch Drug (corner of 100 W & Hoover Ave, Cedar City). If you would like to be a vendor or volunteer at the market please call the Extension office at 435-586-8132.

OES: Do It Yourself Outdoor Gear held 11:30 am in the SUU Outdoor, Sharwan Smith Center (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE.

OSU: Soundtrack of Our Lives held 7:30pm at the Heritage Center Theatre (105 N 100 E, Cedar City) featuring Canyon View High Madrigals, Cedar High Madrigals, In Jubilo, Masters Singers, and SUU OPUS, “Celebrating Music from Movies.” Admission is $10 adults, $5 students over 6yrs, $30 groups of six. Friday, 4th

Horse Endurance Race: Quichapa Lake Pioneer Ride a two day ride for the cure held in Cedar City. There is a fee to ride. For information call 435-586-6891 or 435-559-0989. To volunteer call Jan Ackart 435-592-0429.

The Utah Symphony held 7:30 pm in the Heritage Theater (105 N 100 E, Cedar City), tickets are adults $30, students (with ID) $15. Don’t miss the Symphony Soiree at 5:45 pm in the Heritage Center Festival Hall, cost is $25 per person and includes a delicious dinner buffet served before The Utah Symphony performance. RSVP before 5:00 pm, Sept 27. Make the evening special by attending the Symphony Soiree, and The Utah Symphony, without ever leaving the Heritage Center.
