Monday, 24TH                 

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 6:30pm to 8:30pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. Toadz Talent Showcase, held from 9pm to 1am at Toadz (432 N 100 W, Cedar City) $4 cover charge. All performers are welcome, hosted by Pablo “Of the Mountain” Schwartz. For more info call 435-867-8988.

 

Tuesday, 25TH                                     

Children’s Story Time held 12:30pm – 1pm at the Iron Mission State Park (635 N. Main St, Cedar City), participation is FREE. For more information call 435-586-9290.

 

Wednesday, 26TH                                                                             

Cedar Square Dancing Classes begin at 7pm in the Senior Center (489 E 200 South, Cedar City).  The first class is free, cost after is $7 a couple or $3.50 a person. For more information please call Pat and Hazel Matthews 435-867-9210 or 435-531-6811.

Open Mic night, at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

Music Memories 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County that will take you back to the golden age of music. Come sing along, dance and have fun with other adults from Cedar City and our residents at Emerald Pointe Assisted Living and Care Community. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. Improv Comedy Show “Off the Cuff” presents at the Crystal Inn (1575 W 200 N, Cedar City). Beginning at 10pm, admission is $5. FREE Concert in the Park held at 6:30pm at the Main Street Park Gazebo (249 N Main Street, Cedar City) featuring ‘Ryan Kay’. Seating will be on the grass, bring blankets & food (if you like), chairs will be available.

Native Plant Sale held 9am to Noon in the Iron County Visitor Center Parking Lot (581 N Main St, Cedar City). Native plants, along with adapted species of plants, which will flourish in Iron County, will be on sale.
