Snow Tubing in Brian Head – No special skills or gear needed. With two tubing hills located at both Giant Steps and Navajo Mountain,

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south
of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive). Open

closed to all through traffic and has been turned into a groomed snow shoe, snow

Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru
Saturday, and depicts the history of when early pioneers where sent here to mine iron

Geo-caching (a worldwide scavenger hunt using a GPS). If you have your own GPS
come anytime or you can rent one from the Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa (223 Hunter
Ridge Road, Brian Head) for $5. They will hold your driver’s license while you have

Geo-caching Brian Head Resort begin at the Giant Steps Activity Center (Brian
Head) get a scorecard with your first clue, each location will have a distinctive punch
card to mark the scorecard and the clue for the next cache. Ten caches can be found
on the mountain for a total of about 3 miles generally following the Vista Hiking
Trail.
Museum of Natural History open 10:30am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday on the first
floor of the Science Additions Building (Southeast corner of SUU campus). View
