SUU Theatre Arts Performance ‘Little Women the Musical’ an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved American novel, held at 7:30pm in the Auditorium Theatre (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is $10 Adults and $5 youth, available at the SUU Tickets Office, Centrum Arena 435-586-7872.  

Pianist Dr Willem Van Schalwyk in Recital held 7:30pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE and open to the public.

Into The Woods: A Painted Diary of the Dixie National Forest by Arlene Braithwaite open 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Great Hall Gallery, Hunter Conference Center (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) admission is FREE. Followed by the film “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and A Land Ethic for Our Time.”

2012 Earth Day Celebration held 11:00am to 6:00pm on SUU Upper Quad (inclement weather event will be in the Ballroom, Cedar City), admission is FREE. Event will include movies, art exhibits, band & activities for all ages as well as games & crafts. SUU ROTC 5K beginning at 9:00am on the Coal Creek Trail (200 N 200 E, Cedar City). Come participate in a regular 5K race or a 5K obstacle course, sign up with online registration for the race or obstacle course at http://www.suu.edu/business/rotc/rotc5k.html. Benefit for Trina Lowry Family held 9:00am to 4:00pm at Canyon View high School (166 W 1925 N, Cedar City) and will include craft fair, vendor booths, wrestling match, and dance teams will perform throughout the day.

Scavenger Hunt at Brian Head registration is from 10:00am to 11:00am with the first clue issued at 11:00am sharp on the back deck of giant Steps (Brian Head). First contestant back with al 12 clue codes will win a 2012-2013 Season Pass, but there consolation prizes for all participants. For information call 866-930-1010.

The food donations support the on-campus HOPE Pantry.
