Monday, 10TH   

Dutch Oven Dinner & Carnival for Enoch Disaster Relief held 5:30pm – 10:00pm in the Cedar City Main Street Park (200 N Main St, Cedar City), cost for the meal is $35 per family (up to six people) and $8 per individual. Wristbands to participate in the ping-pong ball drop are $5 each. Also available are carnival games for all ages and entertainment by the band ‘Muddy Boots.’ Donations may be made online at www.cityofenoch.org. Donations go directly to flood relief.

Faculty Recital: Dr Christian Bohnenstengel, Piano held 7:30pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE and the general public is encouraged to attend. For information call 435-865-8800.

 

Tuesday, 11TH  
Children’s Story Time held 12:30pm – 1:00pm at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum (635 N Main St, Cedar City), admission is FREE. For information call 435-586-9290.

OSU: Musical Patriotic Tribute held 7:30pm at the St Jude’s Episcopal Church (70 N 200 W, Cedar City), suggested donation is $5 adults and $3 students. Recitals are recorded so no children younger then six years. For information call Sara Penny 435-586-2286.

 

Wednesday, 12TH   

Live Music held 8:00pm at Mike’s Tavern (90 W Hoover Ave, Cedar City), admission TBD and will feature ‘The Todd Wolfe Band.’

Thursday, 13TH       
Satellite Salon Series: “Common Threads” Master Class held 3:00pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE and the general public is encouraged to attend. Percussion and quilting are stitched together for the highly entertaining series.

Friday, 14TH    

Satellite Salon Series: “Common Threads” Common Threads Concert held 7:30pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE and the general public is encouraged to attend. Percussion and quilting are stitched together for the highly entertaining series.

51ST Annual Utah Shakespeare Festival Fall Season held in Cedar City, Friday & Saturday, at 7:30pm ‘Les Miserables’ in the Randal L Jones Theatre (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City). For tickets and information call 1-800-PLAYTIX.

 

 

Saturday, 15TH 

Cedar Canyon Half Marathon starts at 7:00am at Woods Ranch (12 miles east of Cedar City on Hwy SR-14) and ends at Cedar City Main Street Park. For information call Byron 435-865-5108.

Sphere One Fly-in Breakfast held 7:30am until the fun ends at Sphere One Aviation (2277 West Kittyhawk Dr, Cedar City), general admission (including breakfast) $6 & plane rides over the Cedar Valley are $15. Ashcroft Observatory Lecture & Lab Fundraiser: Astronomical Failures (presentation) held 5:00pm at the Ashcroft Observatory (on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive – Hwy 56 to Westview Drive); Antichthon, Bode’s Law, Sready State theory, and more. Find out what astronomers were wrong about. Admission is FREE, donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards a new telescope. For information call 435-586-1409.
