Monday, 11TH          

Brian Head Resort Tubing hill is open 11am to 3pm for only $15 for a two hour session (beginning on the hour). For more information call 866-930-1010, 435-677-2035 or www.BrianHead.com.

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open at 8:30pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. For more information and time call 435-586-1409.

 

Tuesday, 12TH                                

Cherry Creek Radio B92.1 Radio Day Come out and join "Dave & John". Come out and see the guys at the B92.1 Vehicle. They will give you a coupon that allows you a 50% savings on a full day Lift Ticket.

Wednesday, 13TH                                                                        

Parowan 159th Birthday Celebration beginning from 9:30am to 11am School Children Program, 6pm to 7pm Parowan High School Open House, and from 7pm to 8pm Annual Town Program. All events are held at the Parowan High School. For information call 435-477-9022.

Open Mic night, at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

Gerald R. Sherratt Reception, Southern Utah University and Cedar City Corporation cordially invite you to a reception and program in the Gilbert Great Hall honoring Gerald R. Sherratt, Cedar City Mayor and President Emeritus of SUU, for his extraordinary life of public service. Open House & Reception from 4pm to 5:30pm with a program at 5:30pm.

‘Grimm Tales’ Play presented at 7pm and 9pm in the Sterling R. Church Auditorium in the Sharwin Student Center (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is $5

42nd Annual Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet held 7pm in the Crystal Inn (1575 W 200 N, Cedar City). Tickets are available at the Chamber office (77 N Main St, Cedar City) for the banquet and cost $30 per person. For more information call the Chamber office at 586-4484.

Friday, 15TH        

Music Memories 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County that will take you back to the golden age of music. Come sing along, dance and have fun with other adults from Cedar City and our residents at Emerald Pointe Assisted Living and Care Community. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served.
