Monday, 12TH                

Parowan Community Theater: ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at 7pm in the Aladdin Theater (Main Street, Parowan), admission is $7 adults and $5 children. For more information and tickets call 435-477-8190.

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 6:30pm to 8:30pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. Tuesday, 13TH                                    

SUU Spring Semester Lecture Series (Convocations) presents “Henrik Ibsen: The Father of Modern Drama” presented by Dr Aric Samuelsen; Professor, Playwright, and Ibsen Scholar. Wednesday, 14Th

Open Mic night, at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

Outdoor Education Series: ‘Boulder Outdoor Survival School’ held 11:30am -12:30pm in the SUU Outdoor Center (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) featuring speakers: Jeff Sanders, BOSS Field Director, Utah Operations. Bring your brown bag lunch and relax and enjoy discussions and hands-on activities to help you learn more about the great outdoors and all it has to offer. Admission is FREE and everyone is invited.

Friday, 16Th           

Music Memories 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County that will take you back to the golden age of music. Come sing along, dance and have fun with other adults from Cedar City and our residents at Emerald Pointe Assisted Living and Care Community. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. 26th Anniversary Relay for Life held at the SUU Coliseum (1150 W University Blvd, Cedar City) Survivor and Caregiver Reception held at 5pm, Survivor Lap from 6pm to 10am. Teams participate in this fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and help to remember those lost to the disease and celebrate those who have survived. There will be entertainment, food, programs, and fundraising activities. For team information call Richard Batt 435-586-6595.

Live It Up Downtown Celebration with an energetic evening filled with Food, Music & Art from 7pm to 10pm at The Grind Coffee House (19 N Main, Cedar City). Last Day at Brian Head ResortResort Closes for the winter season, be sure to come back in June for the Summer Adventure Season.

Les Chansons (Women’s Choir) will give a free concert at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church at 7pm. The concert will be directed by Jackie Jackson.
