Monday, 6TH                                     

3rd Annual “Soup-er Bowl Monday” sponsored by the Cedar High School ceramics club and pro-start will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cedar High School lunch room (703 W 600 S, Cedar City). Proceeds will go to Br Harwood. Please come join us for some tasty soup, bread, and dessert. All for only $5 or if you would like to purchase a ceramic bowl the cost is $10. Bread & Soup Nite held 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Ballroom (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). For only $1 with a non-perishable food item (or $2without) attendees can enjoy all-you-can-eat bread, soup, dessert, and live entertainment. The food donations support the on-campus HOPE Pantry.

 

Tuesday, 7TH                                                 

Patty Larkin Concert, held 7:00pm at St Jude’s Episcopal Church (70 N 200 W, Cedar City). Suggested donation levels are $15 adults & $10 students / seniors. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Groovefest American Music Festival.

 

Wednesday, 8TH                                                                                       

SUU Ceramics Guild Annual Valentine’s Day Sale held 10:00am to 4:00pm in the Sharwan Smith Living Room (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). They will be selling mugs, vases, and trinket boxes, the proceeds of this event support the Guild’s annual NCECA conference trip and visiting artist program.

Korea Folk Ballet: The Little Angels Children’s Folk Ballet of Korea held 7:00pm in the Heritage Center Theater (105 N 100 E, Cedar City). Tickets are FREE at the box office on a first come, first serve basis. For information call 435-865-2882 or Jason 435-865-2890.

Valentine’s Gala presented by the Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company held 7:30pm at the Great Hall in the Hunter Conference Center (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) and the total cost is $25 per person. The event will include a meal, live music, and entertainment as well as an open dance floor for attendees. For tickets call 435-865-8375.

Saturday, 11TH    

Cedar Breaks Ranger-Led Snowshoe Walk.  Meet at the Cedar City Main Street Park pavilion 9:00am on in Brian Head at 10:00am (meeting location will vary in Brian Head). Registration is required; call 435-586-9451 to register and reserve snowshoes for the walk.  NOTE: This event is dependent upon good weather.  For information call 435-586-9451 or visit www.nps.gov/cebr.

Drama Club Mystery Dinner: “Till Death Do Us Part” held 7:00pm at Cedar High School (703 W 600 S, Cedar City). It promises good food and even greater entertainment. The cost is $22 a ticket. For information call 435-586-2820.

Sunday, 12TH  

The Artiste Sanctuary Concert Series featuring ‘The Matt Flinner Trio’ held at 3:00pm at St Jude’s Episcopal Church (70 N 200 W Harding Ave, Cedar City). Sonically founded in bluegrass, jazz and American acoustic music, these folks are the quintessential consummate musician’s, musician’s.
