SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 9:00pm to 11:00pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. Hands on History come learn all about Pioneer Life every Wednesday for ages 8 to 12yrs from 10:30am – 11:30am at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum (635 N. Main St, Cedar City), today’s event includes Graces, U-Load it Wagon, Trail Markers, Measuring Land and Tents. Cost is only $16 for all 8 weeks. For information call 435-586-9290.

Friday Music Memories held 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County. 31ST Anniversary Paiute Restoration Gathering & POW-WOW. A celebration of the federal restoration of the Paiute Tribe. Held in Cedar City at the Paiute Tribal Center, admission is FREE. Utah’s Patchwork Parkway Hwy 143 Celebration. Come explore Utah’s Newest National Scenic Byway expanding from Parowan to Panguitch and everywhere in between. Begin your journey on the National Byway 143 in Parowan at the Old Rock Church or Panguitch with a pancake breakfast and activities.
