Monday, 1ST                      

Town Hall Meeting held 7pm at Festival Hall (105 N 100 East, Cedar City). Everyone is invited to attend and share local insight and thoughts regarding the downtown district and help create market driven solutions that will enrich the downtown and overall quality of life. Australia’s Central Queensland University Jazz Ensemble held at 7:30pm on the Randall L Jones Theatre (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE, general public welcome. For information call 435-865-8800.

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 9pm to 11pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. For more information and time call 435-586-1409.

Toadz Talent Showcase, held from 9pm to 1am at Toadz (432 N 100 W, Cedar City) $4 cover charge. All performers are welcome, hosted by Pablo “Of the Mountain” Schwartz. For more info call 435-867-8988.

 

Tuesday, 2ND                                        

Warren Miller Film held at 7pm doors open at 6pm on Southern Utah University Campus in the Ballroom (Sharwan Smith Center, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) cost $20 per person.

 

Wednesday, 3RD                                                                                

Cedar Square Dancing Classes begin at 7pm in the Senior Center (489 E 200 South, Cedar City).  The first class is free, cost after is $7 a couple or $3.50 a person. For more information please call Pat and Hazel Matthews 435-867-9210 or 435-531-6811.

Open Mic night, (unless something else coincides) at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

 

Thursday, 4TH                                                                                 

The Wizard of Oz presented by Cedar High School at 7pm in the CHS Auditorium (703 W 600 S, Cedar City). Tickets are $3 for CHS students, $5 for adults and $20 for a family.

Art Insight held at 7pm at SUU Campus (351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) and features presentations and discussions by visiting artists and art educators from around the nation who share their work and insights and attend gallery openings. Friday, 5TH                  

Friday Music Memories held 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County. Come sing along, dance and have fun. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. For more information call Flora 435-867-0055.

Saturday, 6TH                                                   

Annual Boy Scout Troop Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser family seating is 6pm to 8pm with and hour for senior citizens from 5pm to 6pm held in the basement of the ELKS Lodge (200 N 100 E, Cedar City).
