Monday, 29TH                 

Free Beginning Gardening Class held from 6pm to 7:30pm at the USU Extension Office (585 N Main, Cedar City). For more information go to: www.extension.usu.edu/ironmg. Space is limited so please call Candace 435-586-8132 to reserve your spot.

SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 6:30pm to 8:30pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. Puppet Show : ‘The Crayon Court’ held at 7:30pm in the Randall L Jones Theater (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Tickets are only $3 for children under 12 and $5 for adults. Cedar Square Dancing Classes begin at 7pm in the Senior Center (489 E 200 South, Cedar City).  The first class is free, cost after is $7 a couple or $3.50 a person. For more information please call Pat and Hazel Matthews 435-867-9210 or 435-531-6811.

Open Mic night, at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

Senior Portfolio Art Exhibit Held Noon to 7pm in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) admission is FREE. For more information call 435-586-5432.

Junior Voice Recital featuring Junior vocalists Thad Jackson and Mario Castro at 7:30pm in Thorley Recital Hall (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is FREE.

 

Friday, 2ND

Senior Portfolio Art Exhibit Held Noon to 7pm in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City) admission is FREE. For more information call 435-586-5432.

Music Memories 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County that will take you back to the golden age of music. Come sing along, dance and have fun with other adults from Cedar City and our residents at Emerald Pointe Assisted Living and Care Community. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. Saturday, 3RD                                              

Enoch Easter Egg Hunt held at 9am at the Enoch City Offices (900 E Midvalley Rd) for ages 12yrs and under. Event sponsored by the Enoch City Police Dept. For more information call 435-586-1119.

Easter Egg Hunt begins at 9am when the Easter Bunny arrives in the Cedar City Main Street Park. Make sure to arrive early so you don’t miss out on the fun. Prizes will be passed out after the eggs have all been gathered. For more information call Kyle 954-303-0368.
