Monday, 15TH               

Community Family Night held 5:30pm to 8pm at Canyon View High School (166 W 1925 N, Cedar City). Event includes prize drawings, bounce houses, pizza and other refreshments.

Free Beginning Gardening Class held from 6pm to 7:30pm at the USU Extension Office (585 N Main, Cedar City) covering all the basics, starting with soil preparation and ending with food preservation. For information visit www.extension.usu.edu/ironmg. Space is limited so please call Candace 435-586-8132 to reserve your spot.
SUU’s Ashcroft Observatory, free star-gazing, located on the hilltop just south of the SUU Farm on Westview Drive (Hwy 56 W to Westview Drive).  Open 6:30pm to 8:30pm, interested parties should plan on arriving at the observatory just as the sun sets. Tuesday, 16TH                                    

Radio Day at Brian Head, come out and see the guys at the B92.1 Vehicle or Reba at the Kickin’ 94.9 Vehicle and they will give you a coupon that allows you a 50% savings on a full day Lift Ticket. For more information call 435-677-2035 or 866-930-1010.

Wednesday, 17TH                                                                           

Cedar Square Dancing Classes begin at 7pm in the Senior Center (489 E 200 South, Cedar City).  The first class is free, cost after is $7 a couple or $3.50 a person. For more information please call Pat and Hazel Matthews 435-867-9210 or 435-531-6811.

Open Mic night, at 8pm at Groovacious (173 N 100 W, Cedar City) and is FREE to attend. Open to all musicians, poets, actors or egomaniacs, anyone who wants to perform in front of a live audience and improve their stage skills. For more info call 435-867-9800.

Friday, 19TH        

Music Memories 2pm to 4pm at Emerald Pointe (995 S Regency Rd, Cedar City) FREE program for music lovers with a variety of musicians from Iron County that will take you back to the golden age of music. Come sing along, dance and have fun with other adults from Cedar City and our residents at Emerald Pointe Assisted Living and Care Community. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. ‘An Evening of The World’s Greatest Comedy Routines’ held at 6pm at The Hampton Inn (1145 S Bentley Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is $20 per person (15 years or older). There will be Door prizes. United States Marine Corps (USMC) On Snow Fun Competition 2. Come on out and have fun again with the Marines. The USMC is going to have the Red Hot H3, booming music & showing "Extreme Snowsports" on DVD. Compete against your buddies on the USMC pull-up bar, or cruise through the obstacle course and the Brian Head NASTAR Race Course….. Spring Equinox Sunset Observation held at 6:30pm at the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs National Historic Site and will include a short interpretive tour of the gap followed by a drive and short walk to the Equinox carin to observe the setting sun (approx. 7:15pm). Dress for cold winter temperatures, with good hiking shoes, and bringing bottled water to drink. For more information call Nancy at 435-477-3735.
